Audio bear’s goal is to capture the best performance possible by bringing the technology and know-how of the big studio to you. Our mobile recording studio has the capability to turn a room in your home into a vocal booth or a band tracking room, space permitting. HOW THIS IS POSSIBLE
With the advancements of modern recording technology, normally unthinkable results have been made available to the recording engineer and artist. Our mobile studio is designed to capture 10 tracks at once and provide headphone monitoring for up to 4 performers, making it possible to track the band at practice or maybe even a favorite local venue. Sound diffusion materials like baffles and vocal shields can be brought to the chosen room to provide additional separation, giving the engineer the best possible tracks to mix.
DOES THIS MEAN I DON'T NEED THE "BIG STUDIO" ANYMORE?
Absolutely not! Some larger studios will have access to loads of outboard gear that Audiobear may not have. These larger studios will most likely have two or more isolated tracking rooms dedicated to providing industry standard separation for your tracks. We realize that recordings are being made with budgets in mind, with additional expenses that can be incurred after the recording process like mastering, duplication, advertising, etc. As a result, Audiobear is committed to capturing the best performance as efficiently as possible, and we've found that this is more likely to happen where the artist or performer are most comfortable. Restoration
When it comes to Audio Restoration Audiobear regards the process in the same way as Mastering, with an abundance of time and careful listening involved to produce the cleanest track when compared to the original source material. We provide several reviewable versions for our customers allowing their ears to decide which version will serve their purpose best. We use modern tools and techniques to achieve the best result without breaking the budget of our customers. In turn, we create an excellent customer experience by providing transparency throughout the process.
Drumming
Ben Engen, owner of Audiobear provides original drum and percussion tracks by means of physically tracking the necessary instruments, or programming them from scratch using familiar sample libraries. This is completed regardless of genre, as the necessary means are well within the grasp of the artist at Audiobear. Drum set and percussion lessons are available upon request, and use a tried and true curriculum to develop a musician from intermediate to advanced levels for all ages.
